A Taste of-Nourishing Life: Chinese Longevity Practices for Older Adults
The Chinese are famous for their longevity. We’ve all seen photos of the vibrant and happy retired Chinese doing tai chi in the park. The class focuses on the traditional practices of what the Chinese call the “nourishing life” tradition. We will learn slow and accessible movements from tai qi and qigong that build energy and enhance flexibility and balance, and practice special meditation techniques to calm the mind, support the body, and nourish the spirit. Beginners very welcome and all movement practices can be performed from a chair.
