Book Circles, 2016-17 Begin October 5
Beginning October 5
Deborah Circle, 10 am in the Library
Rebecca Circle, 1 pm in the Library
Mary Circle, 7 pm in members’ homes
Three Presbyterian Women book circles read and discuss great books. The first book for 2017-18 is Orphan Trainby Christina B. Kline, about a forgotten chapter in American history. Between 1854 and 1929, “orphan trains” ran regularly from the cities of the East Coast to the farmlands of the Midwest, carrying thousands of abandoned children whose fates would be determined by luck or chance.
The groups meet every other month: October 5, December 7, February 1, April 5 and June 7. If you are looking for a lively book discussion, you are welcome to join us.
