What gives you joy?  What are your gifts and how is God calling you to share them?  Do you have a green thumb?  Are you a song bird?  Do you enjoy working with children or teens?  Are you a natural born teacher or a good listener?  Do you want to bring communion elements to worship or arrange flowers?  Do you knit or sew? What is it that makes your spirit sore?  At DCC, we will help in engage your gifts in a way that you will find meaningful.  Stewardship of Time and Talent means using our spiritual gifts and making good use of the time

God has given us. Please use this survey and descriptions of service opportunities to find areas where you feel called to use your time in service over the next year.

Care
DCC is a community that cares for one another.  Stephen Ministers are trained listeners who walk alongside others who may be experiencing a transition or a difficult time. Care Teams do everyday chores for people who have had surgery, illness or a short term emergency. You may like to be a caregiver or there may come a time in your life that you need a little care.  DCC cares.

Be the change
DCCers are active in many social justice issues.  They serve those who are marginalized in our community (via poverty or homelessness), care for the environment and promote peace and understanding in the larger community, the church and in the world.

Learn & Grow
DCC is a Presbyterian congregation (PCUSA) with a strong belief that we never stop learning.  Learning forms and informs our faith, enriches our experience and enhances our understanding.  We offer a Christian Formation hour on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM (September – May).  Classes are offered for children, youth (Sunday School) and adults. The adult classes are led by pastors and others with expertise in a wide array of subjects.  Grab a cup of coffee and join a class.

Join a Small Group
DCC is a large congregation made smaller and more personal through various small groups, such as Companions in Christ.  Watch for small group offerings that will help you get to know others and share in depth your experience of God.

Worship, of course!
Worship is the heart of the community.  In worship we sing, pray, listen and praise God together.  If you do only one thing at DCC, please join us for worship.  All are welcome. Be sure to introduce yourself and share with us your basic contact information so we can more personally invite your into the life of the church.

Contribute
DCC exists because of the generous contributions of the members and friends of the congregation who participate in a vision of DCC as a beacon of Christ’s light in the community and in the world.  Your contributions - time, talent and treasure - go toward a making that vision a reality.
