David Deffner is our Minister of Music and organist. David was born in Berkeley, and began serving as a church musician at the age of 16. He spent 25 years in the Midwest and received degrees from Valparaiso University, the University of Minnesota, and Northwestern University. He has lived in the Sacramento area since 1988 and is well known for his concerts and recitals. In addition, the music staff includes Choir Directors Norma Meyer and Mary Kay. Together they lead an outstanding ministry of music, both vocal and instrumental, for our congregation. |

Erin serves as the Youth Program Coordinator at DCC, handling the administrative needs of our youth ministry program. Erin is a native of Davis, where she spent much of her youth serving the community's children. Erin received her B.A. and teaching credential from California State University, Sacramento. Erin has taught elementary school in a variety of schools throughout California, including: Sacramento, San Diego, Santa Cruz and Monterey. Erin received her Master's in Educational Technology in 2008 from Azusa Pacific University. Erin and her son, Nicholas, live in Woodland. Erin enjoys baking, painting, spending time with her family and traveling the world with Nicholas. |

Julie provides administrative support to the pastors, Session and the congregation in the church office. Her responsibilities are varied but include coordination of worship leadership, publicity, church calendar, facility use, session business as well as service to all who enter the church office. Julie brings a background in Human Resources and benefits administration. She is a graduate of UC Irvine's School of Social Ecology and finds that in the church office she has found a rewarding career as a practicing, faith-full Social Ecologist.

X106 | Contact me about Stephen Ministry, Care Teams Ministry, Older Adult Ministry, Visitation Ministry, Meals and Rides Ministry, and our Prayer Chain. I provide much of the pastoral care of DCC. I am a trained Spiritual Director and the staff liaison to the Ministry of Congregational Care. I am in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. |
JoAnn is our Minister of Congregational Care. In 1999 she left teaching at Pioneer Elementary School to join the staff at DCC. JoAnn is a layperson who feels called to help others deepen their relationships with God and with others in our church community. JoAnn connects with our older adults, our new members, and anyone going through a tough time. She is the mother of two adult sons and their wives and five precious grandchildren, all who live locally and who fill her life with love and delight. |

Elizabeth loves facilitating retreats and small groups at DCC and in the community. She has been providing individual spiritual direction and contemplative retreats/small groups since 2000.
She is a holistic health student and enjoys participating in community theatre, traveling, and sharing her life with Brett and their family -- Emily and James, and their two goofball kittens, Skitter and Bosco. |

Maria is our Minister of Finance and Facilities. Besides Finance and Facilities, she is responsible for the personnel and membership records. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband, keeping up with her book club, growing a vegetable garden, and knitting. She is a graduate of UC Davis School of Management and is joyful about working at DCC.
