Classes

Jesus reveals to us a passion for life, a reverence for matter, and “the holiness of wholeness.”  We at DCC walk this way of life as we focus our hearts and minds on our faith journey. We provide a full array of opportunities to explore spirituality through  the practice of meditation and classes in dreamwork, financial planning, Bible study, yoga, art, personal growth, spiritual direction, Reiki, and other ways to enhance personal well-being.

Many classes are free; some have a fee. Scholarships support our primary mission of welcoming all. You are invited to pay what you find to be affordable. You are also invited to "pay it forward" with a donation to the Scholarship Fund, as you are able.

Experience new expressions of Christian life and practices that are emerging among us.

Lenten Book Study

Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time

Marcus Borg. author of "Meeting Jesus Again for First Time" uses the narrative of Jesus’ life, teachings, and even politics, to draw a different and more culturally-informed picture of who he was – taking the readers away from the traditional orthodox view of his divinity, and moving them instead toward understanding his life as a model for building a relationship with the Spirit of God.

You are welcome to sign up in the Narthex or drop in to one of these three groups.
