Heart of Davis

HEART of Davis (formerly IRWS), in partnership with the City of Davis, County of Yolo and many congregations and organizations in the Davis community, will operate a winter shelter in Davis for the cold months (November through March).

The shelter is located in an unincorporated part of the county just outside the Davis city limits. The shelter location will allow HEART to provide shelter in a non-congregate environment which is essential for safety during the pandemic. All levels of support are welcome and needed from the community to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our unhoused neighbors:
1. Volunteers
2. Donations of warm clothing and other comfort items in good condition
3. Monetary support for transportation to and from the shelter, and for personal protection equipment and supplies
