Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer is a practice of silent prayer and meditation based on the contemplative practices of early Christians. Individual responses vary and this prayer of the heart can be an enriching experience in opening up to God’s love. We will use Fr. Thomas Keating’s teaching as well as the expression of other modern-day mystics. This is a sample of a meditation provided last week by one of the members of the group.
