This Bible study centers the experiences of LGBTQ+ people while warmly welcoming allies. Together we'll explore Scripture in a safe, affirming community where queer people can speak openly without fear of judgment or shame. Bring your questions, your doubts, your faith, or your uncertainty as we learn from Scripture and from one another.

    The Lydia Circle Bible study group is inviting all who are interested in studying the Bible using the Presbyterian Women Horizons Bible Study. All, including men, are welcome.We start in the fall and end in early summer, depending on how many chapters are in the current study. This year’s 2026-2027 study is titled United Through Christ, Bound to Each Other, regarding Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians. Kirtan, the ancient practice of chanting, relieves the mind and heart of fear and anxiety and allows us to fully taste the nectar of spiritual love. Enter into an atmosphere of non-judgement and let your worries melt away. Learn easy techniques also that you can practice on your own at home. Our sessions are for everyone and beginners are welcome. No experience necessary.

  • ADOPT A SOCIAL WORKER

    CPJ’s Adopt a Social Worker group supports a Yolo County social worker serving children and families. Once a month, the group gathers for lunch with the social worker to listen, learn about their work, celebrate successes, and offer encouragement. The group also occasionally helps provide needed items or services for families, while protecting their privacy and confidentiality.

  • NORTH AMERICAN FLUTE CIRCLE WITH MERI SUPERAK

    Relax into wisdom through the meditative sounds of the North American flute.

    Each month, explore one of the five elements of wisdom through guided meditation and live flute music. The series follows this monthly journey: August: Wood September: Wind October: Water November: Earth December: Metal


    During each session, Meri will guide participants in meditation while performing live on her handcrafted wooden North American flutes. Participants will also have the opportunity to play a North American flute provided by Meri.

    Register for the complete five-session series for $75, or attend individual sessions for $20 each.

    We offer two weekly Centering Prayer groups. The groups, usually 6-10 people, enjoy two readings from a variety of faith and wisdom traditions, two periods of silent reflection/meditation, followed by a time to share (or not) responses to the readings. 


    Centering Prayer slows us down, nourishes our spirits, and makes it easy to connect with others in sometimes surprising ways. 

  • Play School Experience

    The Play School Experience is a free, drop-in playgroup for babies and their parents or caregivers. It’s a chance to play and explore with your little one, meet other families, encourage early social skills, and enjoy a fun circle time together.

    Spiritual Directors have received their training through Mercy Center & Bread of Life and include Elizabeth Fulmer, Jennifer Terra and Joe Yun. 


    Individual sessions provide you with a time to listen deeply and explore your life while being held in spacious support. It offers a space where you can explore and discover the deeper currents of your life.  It is a time of sanctuary – a practice of slowing down and listening deeply with intention, focus and companionship.
