Adult Christian Formation Ministry

Adult Christian Formation is the ongoing process of growing in relationship with God, self, others, and all of creation. It is a reflective process that binds us together on a path of transformation that profoundly impacts both our inner lives as well our larger communities. 



Adult Formation at DCC invites you to participate in a wide range of programs, including discussion groups, workshops, lectures, classes, and other special events. Nearly all are free of charge and you are welcome to drop in once or come to every class.  Check the Program Schedule for the latest offerings. Childcare is provided for all major events. 


Our topics are wide-ranging and include the following: 

  • Issues of contemporary concern (gun control, climate change, asylum/immigration, housing) 
  • Classes in theology
  • Spiritual issues and integrated spirituality
  • Issues regarding active civic engagement
