Purple Tree Cafe is a non-profit organization based in Davis that creates community-based employment for people with disabilities and brings people with and without disabilities together through food, art and music.

METLAKATLA BASKETS
Traditional baskets made by the Tsimshian people of Metlakatla, Alaska, an Indigenous community located on Annette Island in the Inside Passage, approximately 20 miles south of Ketchikan. The community is the only Indian reservation in Alaska and is home to the Tsimshian people, who have lived in the area since 1887. The cultural practices, including basket weaving, are integral to preserving their identity and way of life.
