Stephen ministers
walking the path with others
A non-denominational, nationally led ministry of care. Our chapter began at DCC in 1995. Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one ministry of careful, loving listening who bring Christ’s healing power to those who are hurting. Stephen Ministers meet weekly for one hour with their Care Receivers then bi-monthly for support and continued education. Each Stephen Minister is trained for over three months before they are commissioned in our services, and keep all conversations confidential.
