Last weekend, our neighbors at Corner Drug in Woodland were targeted with anti-LGBTQ+ vandalism. A window displaying signs of support for the LGBTQ+ community was smashed, and hateful anti-LGBTQ+ slurs were painted across the storefront. Davis Enterprise Article>


We stand alongside Corner Drug, the Davis Phoenix Coalition, Elevate Queer Yolo, and our LGBTQIA+ neighbors throughout Yolo County in condemning this act of violence.  At Davis Community Church, we believe every person is created in the image of God and deserves to live authentically, with safety and dignity. 


We will not let hate ever have the last word. We will speak out.  To our LGBTQ+ friends, neighbors and DCC community: we see you and will continue to stand with you.
