WAYS TO HELP AND CARE

AND LET US CONSIDER HOW WE MAY SPUR ONE ANOTHER ON TOWARD LOVE AND GOOD DEEDS. LET US NOT GIVE UP MEETING TOGETHER, AS SOME ARE IN THE HABIT OF DOING, BUT LET US ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER - AND ALL THE MORE AS YOU SEE THE DAY APPROACHING.                                                                                         Hebrews 10:24-25

Stephen ministers

walking the path with others

A non-denominational, nationally led ministry of care. Our chapter began at DCC in 1995. Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one ministry of careful, loving listening who bring Christ’s healing power to those who are hurting.  Stephen Ministers meet weekly for one hour with their Care Receivers then bi-monthly for support and continued education. Each Stephen Minister is trained for over three months before they are commissioned in our services, and keep all conversations confidential.
