DCC will offer a series of educational sessions related to dementia. Eleven events (eight videos and three live presentations) by experts from the Alzheimer’s Association will support whose lives are touched by dementing illnesses. We will show videos by Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA. Snow’s experience in neurological impairment care spans both her personal and professional life. Her life’s mission is to shed a positive light on dementia. Teepa Snow and the Positive Approach to Care (PAC) Team share education related to dementia to increase understanding as to the cause of dementia and how to support those living with brain change in a positive and respectful way.
