A week on each gospel
A brief review of the first days of the church with various apostles
A brief overview of the various letters to communities and individuals
An introduction to The Revelation of John
Some history, culture, terminology, tools, various genre of the day
The user-friendly book is more of a workbook than a theological tome using some bullet and outline format as opposed to long chapters. During the class session, there will be some time for discussion, questions/answers, and personal work/reflection. Each session will end with a brief Lectio Divina examining a small section of scripture of the lesson to listen for what God has to share with you. The goals are to be able to find a passage, then have an idea of what the major books are about, and an introduction to some tools to help you learn more.
